NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
DEDICATION OF COUNTY ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on January 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Converse County Commissioners’ Office, Converse County Courthouse, 107 N. 5th Street, Douglas, Wyoming to obtain citizens’ comments on the proposed vacation of previous alignments and dedication of the entire length of Walker Creek Road (CR #43) as it currently exists. This survey begins at a point on the center line of Wyoming State Highway 59 in the NW1/4 NW1/4 of Section 33, T34N R70W and terminates on the county line in the SE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 21, T37N R67W for a total of 33.85 miles. The proposed width of dedicated road is sixty (60) feet, being thirty (30) feet on each side of surveyed center line. This dedication will not change the road currently traveled, accesses or existing addresses. A drawing and additional information regarding this proposal will be available for review in the Converse County Surveyor’s Office, Converse County Courthouse, 107 N. 5th Street, Suite B-3, Douglas, Wyoming or online at https://www.conversecountywy.gov/261/Public-Hearings-Notices. Objections and claims must be filed with the County Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. January 16, 2023.
