Grapplers pin great results at regionals

      The two biggest events in high school wrestling has arrived and so has the Glenrock High School wrestling boys and girls teams. They tackled regionals Feb. 16-17 and they combined for nearly a dozen state qualifications this weekend in Casper.

The Herder girls made it a clean sweep. All four athletes are heading to the state championship showdown. Sophomore Gillian Holman leads the way after winning the regional crown.

Danika Harris captured third place, while Bailey Mueller pinned fourth and Julia Skinner came in  seventh.

On the boys side, Brody Allen and Preston Sorensen were the top placers for Glenrock with second-place finishes. Gene Hershley nailed third, while JD Holman, Lane Masopust and Wiley Lesser wrestled with fourth.
