Glenrock FFA members Ann-Marie Young (left) and Adelaide Williams show off one of their projects which will be for sale when the members host the second annual Project Sale June 23 in the first lot next to Sips on West Birch Street.
The efforts and hard work of Glenrock youth will be on full display next week and the community will have a chance to own those students’ work.
It’s a win-win situation as buyers and supporters have a chance to own something made or grown locally. In return, the Glenrock students are able to put that money generated from the project sale to their futures.
The Glenrock FFA will host its second annual Project Sale June 23 in the first lot next to Sips on West Birch Street. The wide variety of things to be made available range from animals to projects made in shop class.
The Glenrock FFA alumni put on the event so that kids can earn money for their supplies for current and future projects as well as to earn their program degrees.
It’s one of many ways to help support the talented hometown FFA students who are active year-round.
The Project Sale will begin at 5:30 p.m. but buyers check-in starts an hour earlier at 4:30 p.m. Each buyer will be given two dinner tickets upon registering for a buyer’s number.
