Award-winning culinary team showcases global cuisines, prepare for nationals at Disney World

The Glenrock High School Culinary Team will be hosting a special event in which the talented young chefs will showcase what they do at the Cook Around the World competition in Disney World. The showcase will be 6 p.m. April 16 in the high school commons.

The night will showcase the talents of our culinary students as they prepare dishes from various cultures and cuisines from around the globe. It promises to be an exciting and educational experience for all who attend.

In addition to the cooking demonstrations, the students will also be hosting a raffle with fantastic prizes. This experience will coincide with  Senior Night to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of the soon-to-be graduating culinary students.

Chef Patrick Hopper said this will be a momentous occasion for their team and would love to the community to be a part of the celebration.

“We invite you to join us in making this event a success. Whether through attending, or providing support in any way, your contribution will play a crucial role in helping our students thrive,” he said. “All proceeds will go toward enhancing the culinary program and providing scholarships for future culinary students.”
