A Rolling Hills man faces felony charges in Eighth Judicial District Court in Douglas for allegedly entering two different homes, and stealing property and guns from both places.

Michael D. Allison was bound over July 1, from Circuit Court in Douglas to stand trial in District Court for the burglaries in Rolling Hills and Glenrock earlier this year.

On Jan. 16 and March 17, Allison allegedly went into a home in Rolling Hills with the plan to steal from the property, according to court documents. It wasn’t until his second time there that he allegedly took  items, including guns from the home, court records allege.

Allison also allegedly went into a Glenrock home sometime between Jan. 26 and March 8 with the plan to steal from this home, as well. Court records allege he also stole items, including guns from this home.

When questioned by investigators, according to the affidavit, Allison allegedly admitted to stealing guns from both the homes.

He is facing a felony burglary charge with up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, if convicted. Allison also faces two felony aggravated burglary charges with no less than five years but no more than 25 years in prison, and a $50,000 fine, for each charge, if convicted.
