Origin of fire on Boxelder Road unknown at this time
The hillside of Boxelder Road burns June 13.
As the fire burns next to Boxelder Road continues to burn, Glenrock Volunteer Fire Department firefighters attempt to extinguish the blaze.
At approximately 12 p.m. a fire was reported on Boxelder Road in Glenrock. The fire is approximately 8 miles south of the entrance of Boxelder, past the Dave Johnston Power Plant. The Glenrock Volunteer Fire Department firefighters are on scene as well as the Converse County Sheriff's Office deputies.
As of press time, no homes have been affected by the fire and the cause of the blaze is undetermined at this time.
