June Frances Wray

June Frances Wray passed away Sept. 7, 2018, with her family by her side. June was born June 27, 1929 in Bremerton, Wash., to Harry L. and Jessie F. Carter and was raised in San Diego, Calif.

During World War II she worked at Rohr Aircraft as a true “Rosie the Riveter,” later moving to Glenrock, Wyo., where she worked at the Glenrock Clinic for 20 years while raising her family. She loved her trips to the mall, gardening and was always proud of her flowers. June enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be so very missed.

June is survived by sons Terry (Robbyn) Wray, of Casper Wyo., Danny Wray of San Diego, Calif., and Steve Wray of Casper, Wyo.; daughters Trudy (Nathan) Wallace of Sheridan, Wyo., Donna (David) Brock of Katy, Texas, Barbara (Daniel) Crestetto of Pine Valley, Calif., Sharon (Steve) McPherson and Sister Shirley Burkehead, all of Bullhead City, Ariz.; grandsons Zachery (Darbi) Wray of Sheridan, Wyo., Jimmy (Milena) Radder of Uta, Italy; and granddaughter Tawnya Wray of Casper, Wyo.

June is also survived by numerous grand, great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a very special friend, Mary (Gary) Boldt of Glenrock.

A private family service is scheduled for later this fall.
