The law enforcement personnel were out delivering gifts to families on the night before Christmas, a tradition they take part in annually.

TO THE EDITOR:

This year, as many years past, the Glenrock Police Department requested names of children that they could help to make their Christmas a bit brighter.

They started with 34 names and ended with over 40 or more.

The Glenrock Giving Tree and the recipients’ families would like to thank the Glenrock Police Department for their continued support of this program. They did an amazing job as they always do, and we are so very grateful. We can’t say thank you enough.

Also included in the appreciation of the Glenrock Giving Tree is the Glenrock Fire Department, Central Wyoming ABATE and Gary Wilcox’s daughters, Wenda and Lila.

Hilltop Bank of Glenrock and Hardware Hank took names of children and the community adopted them. The Glenrock Fire Department also adopted a couple dozen children.

For 44 years these businesses and organizations have helped this program to be possible.

This year, the Glenrock Senior Center and the Glenrock Library also had totes for toys.

The folks in this town are amazing! Thank you Clinton, Ann Zimmerle and children for the help sorting and wrapping.

I think Glenrock is the finest place on earth. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
